he did have a bit of a reputation for being a bit unprofessional(punctuality, following rules, moaning etc) before he came to us and has continued with it it seems to me. These things catch up with players when clubs look closely at getting the right personalities in. Plenty young talented players with better reputations

He has a lot of value.
This will be down to Raiola wanting his client at the very top of the football pyramid , there are plenty of clubs around europe that would want him but if they arent top tier Raiola probably wont entertain them.
He makes the most of any deal he brokers at the very top clubs.

No point loaning unless they have to buy him afterwards.

He has just been on loan to one of the best clubs in the world, playing with the best players and he scored pretty regularly. If we can't sell him after that, then another year won't help if he then comes back to us next summer.

Sell, loan with obligation or keep him as our back up to DCL.

We will wait until the last 2 days and he will go on loan, with no obligation and no loan fee or something
