Moise Kean

A straight swap, Kean for Vlahovic would do very nicely.

We could do a swap deal with Vlahovic at £60mil (they want 70mil euros rather than pounds i think?) and Kean valued at £35mil.

That would solve our profit/sustainability issue this summer as well.

But then its about how to fit Vlahovic into the team with DCL and Richarlison :o

I think if we keep Kean he'll have a good season for us...

@CairnsToffee

The Zatman has blocked me now due to calling him out on talking utter bubbles, swap deals worth 95 million, in a position if Hoppe comes in we will been fine

Plus the Max Aarons stuff, consistently quoting 35million we should pay, the guy looked out of his depth again at the weekend and looked like a bewildered school kid on his first day at school, 35 million? we cant spend 35p at the moment

Too many lockdowns I think?

Not all of the money though. We could spend a few million on a back up striker then get a RB etc...

The players we can get off the books without having to replace aren't easy to get off the books.

Mate what back to striker are we getting for a couple of mill? Any half decent striker is easily 15/20 anyway.

Why would they swap a player worth £60m for one worth £35m? And how would that solve the profit/sustainability problem??

I havent blocked you, youre the guy who watches Liverpool games in Australia during the middle of the night.

Its a pity that you dont comprehend the profit and sustainability rules...if you did then you may actually understand what point youre trying to make.

You carry on talking "utter bubbles" while watching your Liverpool games ;)

Doubt youve seen Hoppe play or Kean at PSG.

I was replying to a message about a swap deal. If they were going to sell him for £60mil and then have Kean as a primary target at £35mil (the media thinks thats the idea)...

...then if by some weird twist of fate we decided to make a move on Vlahovic ourselves;

We bank £35mil day one (Keans fee) + save Keans wages. We pay £12mil a season for 5 seasons for Vlahovic (£60mil)+ his wages.

This summer we have £35mil-£12mil = £23mil profit on the books. Also the +/- from the annual wage difference between the two players.

So we would be at least £20mil better off on the books this year even including a substantial pay increase for Vlahovic on top of what we were paying Kean.

Similar to the Pjanic / Arthur deal which Juventus and Barca did.

Yes mate I do have an understanding of the Profit and Sustainability rules, plus the FFP which are being changed as we speak

And correct I watch the 9.30pm game plus the 12.00am game here in Australia Saturdays, plus the games on the Friday/Sunday too, depending on when we are playing, so probably watch more premier league football than you, even when it was empty stadium practice games.

I haven't seen Hoppe play, but if you look at the original game plan for Brands was to buy cheap and sell high, which Hoppe would certainly fall into as well as Buta if we sign him, whether they are a success or not that remains to be seen, DCL certainly was!

Regarding PSG, yes I have watched the French league, played via Bein Sport here, not extensively but I still like watching Gana play, Kean has looked much improved with M'Bappe and Neymar around him and I would have liked to see him play here for a season too.

As stated on previous posts you have got a couple correct, Tielemans for one, Diop another, although not a great success and probably Soumare this season, but you insist that our chairman hasn't backed us which is 'Bubbles" to the tune of 660 million, plus this season you are expecting huge spending (although you say you understand the profit and sustainability) with your 'bubbles' team lists given the predicament we are in (still at 77% wages to turnover, requirements less than 70%), that doesn't even include the losses over three years, so a double issue!

Again as this is the Moise Kean thread, I would like him to stay for a season to see what he can do with us, but he would need to change personalities first and want to be here, which I don't believe he does (refer Lescott Vs Arsenal when he wanted to go to City)

You enjoy your tea and calm down a little!

pair of absolute melts, dark place indeed…….

Haha we're such a horrible club aren't we hey?

Thierry Small is 17 and thinks he should be a first teamer in the prem.

Kean has done little for us and has no hope of ousting Dom as the main striker.

Both of course think they're better suited at "bigger" clubs, especially with their agents in their ear.

Small will be back down south. Kean will be back in Italy.

Fine by me

Would you bank 100% of the fee a day 1 though? Wouldn't it be staggered?

Yes, within both FFP and Profit and sustainability rules the incoming fee is counted on day 1. The outgoing fee is amortised over length of the players contract.
