I hadn't seen the lad kick a ball before he signed for Everton.

I didn't watch him kick a ball for PSG - I figure a waste of time judging a player in that league, playing for PSG.

I can only judge him from his time kicking a ball for Everton.

In that time, in my opinion - in terms of offering 'something' - I'd struggle to name a worse striker to have played for Everton.

I was desperate to believe the football hipster hype, but I just can't see him doing it in the Prem.

Even if we sell him and he kicks on and does well elsewhere, he wouldn't do it here.

I'm of the view he's either a bit thick, or a bad egg. Or both. Too much smoke without fire. I'm talking about parties during Covid lockdowns, filming himself driving on the motorway, Mancini dropping him from the Italy squad for disciplinary reasons, Duncan Ferguson not giving him an inch on the pitch, his general antics on social media. Carlo Ancelotti loaning him out when we didn't have a backup striker. Marco Silva of all managers, one of the most passive managers out there, felt forced to drop the lad from the squad for disciplinary issues. How often has an Everton player been dropped from a matchday squad because of disciplinary issues?

If he did anything on the pitch for Everton, I'd maybe think persevere with the lad. But sometimes you just have to accept players are not good enough, or wrong'uns, or just that they don't want to be here and cut your losses.

Brands has to do better at sense checking players, he seems to have signed a few now that don't really fit and we still have managers/club captain talking about attitude issues within the team.

17 goals last season and nobody wants to buy him.....
I think one or two clubs would be interested in him but can't afford the fee we're looking for, and they're likely to be teams not at the top level like PSG were.
He was being used as a squad player to give a couple of the star names a rest and have them fresh for the ECL. The best option for him is to return to Italy to get his career back on track and playing first team football regularly. Unfortunately for us, Italian clubs are skint, so they couldn't afford the fee we'd be looking for him or the wages he'd like to get. It's a bad situation for club and player, he wants to leave, club want him to leave, but no one is interested in signing him.

Kean had to get out of Juve because of the racist abuse he was getting from the home fans and there was also the issues on international duty. It honestly would not surprise me in the slightest if Raiola pushed him on to Brands (Raiola is Brands agent also) and said take him as a favour based on some sort of future deal or something else.

It wouldn't surprise me in slightest if this was the case. To me the lad was pawned off by Juventus to us and maybe against his wishes. Brands should've seen this coming.

Sandro, Niasse were both really bad as well, ive got the shivers thinking who we'll pick next. Could start with a new chief scout, who doesn't need a guide dog..

A few with a must buy clause in it for a certain amount, apparently a lot of clubs do that nowadays.

This is the problem when you get into bed with Raiola though, you don't get to say 'no' you do as told basically because him and the likes of Mendes have that much control these days they can make things bloody awkward if you don't. Look at Man Utd and Pogba the issues that have arisen there in recent years, there have been a number of players Utd tried/wanted to sign but Raiola would'nt even entertain them for a few years.

The problem Everton have is that he's only scored goals in Italy and France, the two weakest of the recognised top five leagues.

PSG were never going to spend big on what would essentially be a replacement for Choupo-Moting, and I can't see anyone else wanting to, either.
