Moise Kean

Imagine you're Brands and you've spent £30M of someone else's money on THAT waster, and then you tell the owner that you can get a second loan deal for him?

He's got some brass 'kin neck on him that feller.

How much we paid for him was fine, he looked a real talent that would grow into something bigger and his time at PSG sort of indicates that too.

This is more down to timing, covid and our lack of progress turned this into a bit of a nightmare. There aren't many clubs that are going to drop 30/40 million on him now so we are hamstrung. It's easy to blame Brands but the seller doesn't dictate a transfer, first you need some buyers.

I can appreciate that moving him on could be beneficial for both Kean and ourselves. He’s a very talented player so I hope the club don’t lose any money on his original transfer fee.

I also really hope they club doesn’t allow a loan deal unless there an obligation to buy clause. It’s not very often we see an obligatory fee in a loan deal though, they’re usually an option to buy.

Good enough for PSG and Juventus but not Everton..

This further weakens our strike options like last season. DCL cannot play every game. If we sanction the transfer we have to find another striker so late in the window.

If he doesn't pick up an injury DCL can literally play every game. We've got 38+cups and he's already not looking likely to play too much in the Carabou Cup. It's a manageable workload.

We should still sign someone but we don't need to throw away long term gains because we don't have a backup right now.

We need someone who will actually play for us. Jive are offering 21m apparently so we will mos tv likely move for the Sheffield Utd lad.
