Moise Kean

He was worth a punt, when he signed nobody expected DCL to improve like he has, factor in three different permanent managers and a pandemic when he’s adapting to a new country…
I’m still convinced it is the hardest position for a young player coming through in the prem unless they’re a Lukaku/Rooney level.
Id have liked more money but I’m not that arsed on a bank holiday weekend.
I’ll wish him well and more bothered about us winning today

I don’t think that myself. He was struggled to get a game at his last club. Kean on the other hand was a squad player at PSG.
He struggled to get a game under the new manager, the season before he was a nearly 1 in 2 striker starting for chelsea. Kean was a squad player for PSG, a role formerly filled by Eric Maxim Chuopo Moting. A squad player surrounded by world class players isn't worth the same as striker that you know can start 30 games a season whilst pushing for the CL places.

That's why pretty much none of the top European sides have spent money on a back up striker like Kean. Braithwaite is Barcas squad player, EMCM at bayern, Origi at Liverpool, City haven't even got one. We're hardly talking the cream of the crop here

Lol so a £10m+ loss on a player they never wanted to leave. Perfect.
He was €27.5m.

I’d wager that we’ve received at least €7.5m in loan fees between Juve and PSG.

The deal is structured this way to suit everyone. I’m guessing because Juve have cash flow issues.

We’ve got our money back, and wages off the books. He’s hardly set the world alight so it’s what we needed.

We haven’t got our money back though.

There’s no guarantee he’ll end up going there permanently. We’re basically praying that he does well enough to trigger whatever agreement exists.

Does anyone understand the logic in a loan with an obligatory future fee?

A deal has clearly been agreed so there's obviously being a reason that either us or Juventus wanted it set up this way. The fact we need money to work around FFP and the money they’ve received from Ronaldo and that they no longer have his massive wagers I just don’t get why the deal has been set up this way.

There has to be a reason.

Juve especially but Italian clubs LOVE these types.

We might not of paid the original fee , upfront. Some still to pay
Maybe that has come into play?
