Moise Kean

He was €27.5m.

I’d wager that we’ve received at least €7.5m in loan fees between Juve and PSG.

The deal is structured this way to suit everyone. I’m guessing because Juve have cash flow issues.

We’ve got our money back, and wages off the books. He’s hardly set the world alight so it’s what we needed.
Hopefully we have a sell on clause too & performance related payments to further bolster the pot.

‘Obligation to buy’ seems to be a relatively new term thrown about this year doesn’t it? Not sure what the details behind of it are that separate it from the traditional agreed future fee or first refusal type scenarios. If he stinks the gaff out or gets a serious injury where does this leave us? Just how obliged are they to buy. Is it enforced?

The registration rights of the player Moise Kean has been reached for a consideration of € 27.5 million payable in three financial years. The consideration may increase of further € 2.5 million on achieving given conditions in the course of the duration of the contract.
The economic effect is positive for about € 22.5 million, net of solidarity contribution and auxiliary expenses.

€22.5m or €27.5m not sure.

Does anyone understand the logic in a loan with an obligatory future fee?

A deal has clearly been agreed so there's obviously being a reason that either us or Juventus wanted it set up this way. The fact we need money to work around FFP and the money they’ve received from Ronaldo and that they no longer have his massive wagers I just don’t get why the deal has been set up this way.

There has to be a reason.

It is probably some form of FFP scam - something like he is a loan this year, but next year he will be a purchase arranged the season before so neither would fully count.

22.5m might be the ‘present value’ of the 27.5m.

There’s not many centre forwards of his age who could match his goal record from last season -if it is £20m it’s not a very good price. I get that the market is depressed but Ben white just went for £50m and we’re being quoted £10m for rangers reserve full back.

Another source said it’s €25m.

The operation has been closed in the form of a two-year loan with an obligation to buy at the end of it for €25m in 2023.
