It's not as bad as it sounds, didn't we get a healthy fee from PSG when we loaned him out? If you take that + what Juve will pay per year and you can probably minus 15m from the 27m we paid to start with. Juve will cough up the 17m at the end or we take him back and as long as we get 12m or more we haven't wasted any cash. It was worth the shot as if he was what we hoped we would have made a huge profit. If Juve take up the option we have made 5 or so million.
 
According to calciomercato the obligation to buy for E20m after two years is dependant on his performance in the CL in the 2nd season.

It seems like he was only there to cover Icardi's injuries.

They were never going to spend big money on someone who they don't see as first choice.

That deal stinks for me, for me we should have an iron clad deal that they buy after 2 years or just give them first option to buy at a price to be agreed at the time.
Also we should have an option to sell during the 2 years if another club comes in.
