Part of the reason Juve are in dire straits financially is due to Ronaldo. That club could never have afforded him. He cost them £250 million all said.
They gambled that he would bring a UCL title and it would pay off his signing. They didn’t. They just had to come up with $400 million to cover their debts.
He’d be a great signing for anyone but they couldn’t afford him.

I read a source advising obligation to buy based on certain conditions which means no guarantee. So worst case scenario he is loaned out for 2 years does crap so conditions are not met so we end up getting him back with 1 year on his contract and lose him on a free. If that turns out to be true it is terrible
