Well that should put to bed any more criticism of Brands. Managed to make a profit selling back to the club we bought him off. Add in the PSG loan fee and we have done reasonably well out of it compared to the money we've lost on most of the 25m players we have bought in recent years.

Again.. shame it didn't work out here, I was excited when we signed the kid, but too many mitigating circumstances and if I'm being honest I don't particularly think he enjoyed England much in general.

As I’ve said in the post above, I fully expect Juve to get out of their obligation to buy at the end of the 2 years so let’s not count that money yet.

At the very least this gives us something to spend this summer, right now. If we are getting 3m for the loan and then presumably saving the wages, we could have around a £7m saving perhaps.

Don't think it's been confirmed anywhere, but I've read rumours it's CL qualification in year 2

Two year loan, lower than the £25m we hoped (assumably) and he comes back to 1 year left, so will be sold off on the cheap.
