He's actually played well the last two games.

We control the midfield more when he's playing and gana presses higher up the pitch

Played ok but Davies did better in terms of moving us forward and attacking football.

The team lost its shape once Schneiderlin went off. Gana moved to play Schneiderlin’s role. Davies came on and filled in Gana’s orginial role.

Think Davies’s defensive positioning is pretty awful.

Gana & Gomes is what we need.

The key i think is having someone who can do everything well, Gana cant take the ball off the defence and ping it around so we always need 2 DMs.

Gomes i think is more of a centre mid...so he would need to play deeper.

Id rather we had 1 DM so we could have 2 CMs in front...

Schneiderlin for me is not the answer.

TBH if we are going to have one DM to do what you want then I'd rather have Schneiderlin than Gana.

If we are going to have two/three CMs, one of who presses, goes after the ball and generally breaks up play then I'd rather have Gana.

Originally thought that deft pass for the first goal was Sigurdsson. Was shocked when I realised it was Morgan. He’s obviously got more in the locker than he showed us last season.

He was bang average then got involved in the goal - Davies had pace to burn when he came on - healthy competition if his hammy has gone it will be weeks - the other new players will also push for a place too!
