Seems to have gone quiet for us this one. Pundits and media mentioning WBA as the team most interested in him. I think it would be a good acquistion for us. Him, Gana, Davies, and Barry vying for two spots. McCarthy? Not sure if he'll stay. Clev? Not good enough and way down the pecking order.
If WBA sign him I'd be a bit disappointed unless we have something better in the bag.
 
Well we would be silly not to get him if he's avaliable which is clearly is. Gana is off next month for a while so we deffo need to bring someone in for that position.

My concern is that we mess about and don't learn the lessons from the summer. At the moment, its only a concerns not a criticism because the club haven't yet been given an opportunity to learn from August's mistakes.

But my concern would be targeting an unrealistic bigger name than Schneiderlin, seeing that deal fall through but by that stage Schniederlin has gone elsewhere.
 

Or it's off or was never on in the first place.

Common sense would say he's the best option to get and would be great for us.
But then again this is Everton and common sense doesn't normally apply here.

There has almost certainly been contact between the clubs, West Brom have for whatever reason let it into the public demain that they have bid. Everton never do. I'm confident that if we dont get him that it wont be because we didnt try, I've seen a couple of links to Spain as well for him.
