Morgan Schneiderlin

There's a reason Utd dropped 25m on Schinderlein, He's not turned into a bad player over night, He's just not rated by Jose, He's not even been given a chance to show he's better than Carrick or Fellani so it's being harsh on him to suggest he's worse than those two

From last season

United have conceded 24 goals in all competitions but only nine in the games when Schneiderlin has been picked from the start. Of the 16 games he’s started, United have kept a clean sheet in 10.

He’s best when he plays next to Bastian Schweinsteiger. Of the 11 games they’ve been paired together in midfield United have conceded just five goals and kept seven clean sheets

His tackles per game stats are very good, Wouldn't shock me it Walsh and Koeman have looked at that alongside Gana's stats and see those two shielding the back 4

I mean I think he's quality, and you could definitely do worse. Its just they are going still going to want 25M and MS isn't going to want to take much of a pay cut. McCarthy seems so similar to him too and I never thought McCarthy got bad overnight either. McCarthy didn't do bad either playing in his more natural position the other week. So I can't really see him making us much better. If anything I'd like to see us give McCarthy a few chances in Barry's position before we start splashing cash there.

To be honest I'd rather see us take a chance on Depay instead. Its a bigger risk as Depay might be a ginormous trash fire. He has potential though and you gotta hope to get lucky on a few of these signings. We need help on the left flank more than anything.

Schnieiderlin is an instant upgrade on mcarthy

I can't say you are wrong, but if the purpose of Jan signings is to get better now, we should probably get a LW because I don't really see Scheniderlein starting much. Yes he's also probably better than Barry is right now but Barry's managerial porn collection is strong, and he's not afraid to use it.

Let's keep it on topic here, eh lads?

Lads.

Less of the wrestling talk. We don't need to hear about oiled up pecs and toned abs. Big, athletic men grappling with each other, writhing around on the canvas, sweaty and breathless. Tight fitting shorts bursting at the seams, struggling to contain those over developed glutes and goodness knows what else they hide in there.
