Morgan Schneiderlin

Sorry to say this but there is a huge difference expectation between United and Everton. One club wants to get top 4 or winner, and the other one wants an Europa League next season. Everton fans need to be realistic. In your current situation, you don't expect to get a winner like Kante, Iniesta, Pogba, Modric mate. Schneiderlin is not Manchester United quality midfielder but that doesn't mean he's not an Everton midfielder. I think he will be a very good signing for Everton. He's definitely an upgrade of McCarthy.
Ferguson won the league in his final year with what I can only describe as the worst United side in my living memory

You haven't done a great deal since

Not trying to be difficult but that is a massive amount of hubris for a team that has, quite literally, an unlimited transfer budget and access to the best coaches and players available lately yet still struggle to be average. Everyone has to start somewhere, no?

He's done nothing for two years, worrying that the pe teacher scout has only chosen to buy Prem players looks out of his depth.

My United friend said Schneiderlin took a wage drop when they missed out on top 4 and he thrown his toys out of the pram hence why he can't get a game over 35 year old Carrick and Fellaini.

Worrying that we are overpaying for mercenaries, i'd rather make signings like Gueye for 7mil than aprox 24 M on this waste of space.

Also more worrying that we wanted to buy Sissoko and Lamine Kone for 55M if we sold Lukaku.

Dave...

Manchester United wanted Schneiderlin, because for that 12 months at Southampton he was one of the best midfielders in the premier league. He must have the worst agent in history if he's gone to United, who have no issue with having wages of over £0.5m per week on just 2 players, and yet has come out with a clause that would reduce your salary. I hope to God he's still got that agent, cause if he has, we'll end up actually saving money...

If Schneiderlin has become frustrated at limited opportunities at United, then I cant get him here quick enough. He's wanting to play football and is willing to move from a club of their current stature in world football in order to find it.

Other thing is, did we not make some sort of statement that Lukaku wasn't for sale? It would strike me a bit strange that we would also release something along the lines of "We'll go for Sissoko and Lamine Kone if Lukaku goes". Yes it seems we went for Sissoko, but that was in addition to what was already here.

We'd all love to see signings of the quality of Idrissa Gueye for cheap prices, but realistically its not really going to happen that often.

What a condescending post! Everton are a huge club.

Man U fans I know are pleased they are getting rid. His level was Southampton.

We really don't need more of man U's Cleverleys/Gibsons thanks

Their wage structure is very poor, I wouldn't mind paying his wages if it meant we lost Gibson and Tom in mid just think we are stockpiling mediocre players and giving new contracts to wrong people such as Barry and Gibson not Ross and Lukaku.

Quick, lock the thread while these three are still in it so they can't escape.
