Everton are set to finally sign Morgan Schneiderlinafter agreeing a £22million deal with Manchester United.
Schneiderlin is expected to complete
his protracted move to Everton in the next 48 hours and join up again with Ronald Koeman, bringing an end to his unhappy spell at Old Trafford.
Everton have been in negotiations with United since the January transfer window opened and Koeman's frustration over the club's failure to tie up a deal boiled over after the FA Cup defeat to Leicester on Saturday.

But it is understood that both clubs reached a breakthrough on Tuesday and Schneiderlin will now be cleared for a medical at Everton's Finch Farm training ground.
The cost of the deal could rise to £24million, the fee United paid Southampton two seasons ago, after various performance related add-ons.

West Bromwich Albion were also keen to sign the France international, with an offer worth up to £18million turned down by United early in the window.
But Everton appear to have finally won the race to sign the 27-year-old, who has been frozen out by Jose Mourinho.
