Morgan Schneiderlin

he had a crap game, he'll know he had a crap game. It was inevitable he would have a bad game, he's doing great so far so ain't gonna be too critical over the bad game he had against Spurs when we couldn't afford him or anyone to have a bad game

why were you so bad Morgan ffs

just joking, he'll be right back on it in the next couple of games and really hitting his stride to showcase his talent against those munters across the park and the mancs

Never seen anyone so happy to see an Everton player have a bad game as Davek is.

I remember all the greats in the eighties having bad games by the way, it happens. He is still a snip at what we paid for him and he will prove your total lack of understanding of the game for years to come.
Please dont compare this player with any of those legends. He's played a handful of games and been hit and miss as far as I'm concerned.

Not comparing anyone Eeyore mate, just stating that even great players have off periods so players of Morgs ability can surely be excused a game after an amazing t start to his everton career

Love how he's now 'hit and miss' after one bad game. The whole team was poor against Spurs. Anyone watching us recently can see he's a better option alongside Gana than anything else we have, who has been, and will continue to be, a very good signing.

Would you say he is any improvement on a fit and in form Jimmy Mac, Dave?

Even though I'm not Dave...

Yes, he definitely is for me.

Different players, but Schneiderlin has more to his all-round game. That being said they seemed to work really well together vs Bournemouth.

But Barry and Schneiderlin just can't be played in the same team. It's utterly pointless.

Papers twisting his words, claiming Schneiderlin said Everton are years away from the Champions League.

What he said was:

'Top five this season is going to be hard. This club needs to take time and not get carried away too much because we have had some good results, but keep improving every day and then in the near future we can challenge for the top five.

'Next year the manager will bring in some more players to improve the team and hopefully we can push to that top five in the Premier League.

'I am sure the club dreams of a Champions League place and maybe in a few years' time we can (give) that to them.'

Never ceases to amaze me how the national media latch on to anything Everton-related and twist it into negative spin.

They are determined not to portray Everton in any kind of favourable or upwardly mobile light. There always has to be some sort of asterisk, or caveat, that we're not as good as other teams and it will always be that way.

Never saw this sort of stationary thinking when it came to Man City in 2008 onwards. It's as if they've decided who the football world order is, and they don't want anyone disrupting it.
