Hopefully, it's Grade I, which means no tear and that usually takes 7-10 days of recovery, which means he may be fit to feature in the derby.

My thinking as well. He won't start unless he's 100% fit.

It's not exactly like he needs to be 'eased in' though really. He's as match fit as any of them and has ten days solid recovery time. We'll see.

Agreed, every player need to be 100% fitness wise. They say the speed of premier league football is quick, but the intensity in a derby goes up another notch.

Don't fear - we always manage somehow to have 3-4 key players out with some problem for the Derby. Doesn't happen to them like... it's called "Being Everton" where Luck and good fortune don't feature in the same sentence.

I would only play him if he is %100, we could play him and he has a set back and misses Old Trafford that he could of been fit for, he ows them one. As much as we need him for the Derby we also need him for the mid weak

i disagree, to have a chance of 4th we need to win both of these games that means going for the win and gambling on his fitness, playing him gives us the chance of winning the next two games. If he breaks down and we lose, one or both, well we are pretty sure of a EL place with 7th.

I wouldn't......for the simple reason playing a 75% fit player in a derby is asking for the injury to be exacerbated and him being out even longer

We can quite easily play without Schneiderlin or Barry..

Either a 3-back with 2 out of Gana, Davies and McCarthy, or all 3 in a 433.

Agree with Dave here. Snides should be concentrating on being available after this one really (unless 100 % fit)
Derbies these days are not played with the same passion since Gerrard left though. They don't have anyone left with any ties to Liverpool...they play very attacking football mind, Similar to City though are shaky at the back. If we go there treating this similar to the City game..we should win this...Go there with any talk of pride or passion and we will bottle it.
