I never booed him and I wouldn’t boo a single player with the shirt on. But that’s just me.

However those that did, I am glad they did so. This guy has been coasting and does not give a [Poor language removed] on how himself or this club progresses as long as he gets his money.

We’ve had some real crap in the centre of midfield since the 90s onwards and they never got the treatment this guy is getting (only nyarko compares). If he gets on the pitch again and coasts I feel another nyarko incident but this time with punches thrown.

The fraud totally deserves everything he gets. He may be tolerated at other clubs, but not here. His performances speak volumes about his character and him as a person. Be happy to get 1/4 of what we paid for him and move him on come end of May this year.

He can turn this around. If he starts to play how he can and he did when we signed him, then we will get back on his side. It’s up to him now. We’ve said what we need to for him to change his ways.

Do you think him not being on the trip to Dubai, he could possibly be having some sort of problems at home?
Could that be a clue to his form dropping off a cliff

Could just be me being a cynic mate, but I actually reckon he's fell out with most of the dressing room because of his attitude and not arsed demeanour on the pitch, he's probably toxic now, and that's why he's not there.

It's hard to tell, but it is weird that it seems he doesn't give a turd about his career anymore.

Rumours are that he robbed Sam's Gravy in the canteen the day before they left for Dubai and he was livid. Came to blows with Morgan sliding on his knees, lifted up his shirt to reveal an "ahhh Bisto" tattoo right across his chest.

..I don’t know the fella, I don’t know if what you say is true but like any other industry the game is full of different types. Some become so comfortable that the game doesn’t really matter to them anymore. They will continue to get their £80k per week and can picket a nice 10% of any transfer fee if they move on.

That's what I think. He most likely thought United would be the peak of his career, because that didn't go to plan, combined with the fact he's aging, he probably realises that Everton are the biggest club he'll play for from now on. His future contracts most likely won't pay any higher than what he's on now either, so I say he just doesn't care anymore.

Exactly. There are no consequences to his apparently lack of motivation to play for us. He was given a massive contract, so even if he walks around the pitch sulking, or puts in a half-arsed effort at best in training, the club still has to pay him every week. Even if another club wouldn't offer him a similar contract, he knows Everton would likely contribute towards his wages to make up the difference just to get him off the books if they deem him surplus to requirements. No worries for him, he's still getting his wage for very little work or effort.

If I went to work every day (and for him it's not even every day, it's been once, and may not happen again) and our vendors booed me in and out of the building, I'd still waltz home with a big smile on my face if I was being paid the same as him, so I can appreciate how he likely feels towards Everton now.
