Most embarrassing night as an Everton fan?

Christmas 1983.
Wolves 3 Everton 0. Wolves hadn't won at home all season and their fans took the piss BIG time out of Andy Gray. We were [Poor language removed] with a capital S! The ride back on the football special was awful.
Fast forward six months though and we were cup winners etc, etc.

This.

The game today was a dead rubber, after the last few weeks who honestly expected us to get a result today or even put in a shift. There's some serious piping down needs doing on here ffs

It may have been a dead rubber but it's not good to see a team that don't care for the club the fans there own pride and especially the travelling support

Yes.I remember that.

They were dark days playing in front of 13000s.

It's difficult to believe what was around the corner a couple of months later.

People talk about Kevin Brock's backpass as the catalyst but I remember a game that season that had we not won we would never have even got anywhere near Oxford.

It was the second or third round of the Milk Cup at Goodison midweek against Coventry in front of 8000 and zero atmosphere.

We were absolutely appalling! Coventry' scored and we were totally out of sorts.

Somehow against the run of play, out of nowhere Heath(?) got a very late equaliser.Sharp was injured and limping badly but had to stay on as we had used our sub.He only headed in a corner in injury time!! I remember going berserk in the Gladys Street!

For me? it was defo the Gerrard Hattrick Derby, or the most recent 4-0 effort.

Dark days indeed

When we lost 4-0 to Liverpool in 2014 because I remember loads of us confidently thinking we were going to win it

Losing the semi final to the RS, they only won 2 games in 14 and both were against us.First time in our history we had lost 3 derbies in one season with defeat earlier that season at Goodison aswell.
