Anyone says the Smiths and you’ll be choosing your own Morrisons and stadium jacket.

Funny you say that, I've woken up with an ear infection this morning. You got your wish jimi lolSome people in this thread don’t deserve to have ears.

I seen teenage fan club support Radiohead in 97/98 I think. Like Radiohead but have to be in the right mood. Teenage fan club I remember being extreme banalRadiohead and Teenage Fanclub being exempted.

Pills is one of the most perfect albums ever made IMO - not a single filler on it. I love the Stone Roses but even the first album had a couple of fillers on it. Their worst trick was playing their own stuff backwards and calling it a new song - pretty arrogant thing to do for a new band. Just as well they were great (albeit short lived, and therefore potentially overrated).Stone Roses first album is one of the greatest albums of all time, Monday's had about 3 decent tunes, they got a long way on attitude.
Most of the popularized/mainstream bands of the 70’s. They are great by today’s mainstream standards (which are incredibly low), but every one of those bands have been expanded upon and improved upon times 1,000 by others. Not that there’s anything wrong with that though; music should progress after 30-40 years
Can always count on Guitar Douche to be there in the quadrangle with his acoustic guitar serendading some poor womanJust because a band has a few bangers doesn’t mean they can’t be overrated.
I love some Oasis tracks but the hype they get is well over the top for me. Plus the “fans” that only know Wonderwall make me want to die.
See you in the car park at the Booths in Dalton.
