Nah.

Grew up 2 doors from Robbie and all his family. Genuinely good lad who is still mates with the same lads he was as a kid and has never forgot where he come from. Still calls in to see my parents and looks after his own. Good lad Robbie, despite the team he played for.

They badly did the dirt on him to didn’t they, was big nose wasn’t it.

I can only judge the lad on what I know and have experienced over the last however many years since he hit the big time.
He's never got above himself, never forgotten his roots and never forgotten who helped him achieve what he did.
He's a good man, always has been from what I know.

Have a recollection mate of him falling out with Thompson and shortly after he was sold to Leeds, that’s what I mean by them doing the dirt on him.

Remember being shocked at the time when they sold him.

Thompson was a fake hard man, but Fowler's best days were long behind him. He did nothing for Leeds or City or anyone else after that.

Tbf 'we' deserved it.
Still laugh about it whenever I see him.

The one thing I take from him, despite his fame etc, is that he still drops in to see my mam n dad whenever he's local to see how they are. He has no need to, he gains nothing from it, but he still does it.

He's a proper man.
A good man.
