Would be my top 5. I cannot really pick between them as they where all very talented in different ways.

Trash is trash. In the same way I'd say John Collins was an arrogant failure here at Everton...but you crack on.

If people bring Echo favourite 'Goughie' up and ask what he was like I'll tell them the truth. He was a hardly-here, self-promoting, broken down top flight player who Smith brought in to act as his spy in the changing room.

Yes, he did indeed play for Rangers.

And he was a very good player for us, despite him being 102.

Obviously Rooney but reading a few pages and seen next to nothing for Arteta, whom for me was incredible until he got his injury.

Baines was class but it's hard to look particularly good in that position.

And yet he was our best attacker year after year. Absolutely quality was Leighton. The link up play with Pienaar was absolutely top level footbal

Yeah but the best English left was also the world's best left back. Baines was a better footballer than Cole, but didn't have the electric pace (and maybe a bit of nastiness) which meant Cole was better defensively.

Southall was Everton's greatest modern era player. But by the time the PL came about he was well in decline.

I think thats correct. If Baines had a bit more pace he'd have had the lot.
Cole was a fantastic left back though.

While Rooney had his best days elsewhere I think it's hard to argue anyone possessed more talent.

Not Rooney. Unwordly talent but not an Everton player for long enough. Same with James.

I’m torn between Pienaar, Baines, and Arteta.

Baines is my favorite Everton player of the premier league era, but voted Pienaar.
