Saw this posted somewhere the other day with images and things. Can't say myself how much sense it makes as I don't remember the film's well enough.

just what the hell is going on in under the skin, I quite enjoyed it an all, scalett johanssen getting them out an that, but could somebody give me some clever theories to pass off as my own

I've read the book like 10 years ago, but haven't seen the film yet. It's very clear what's going on in the book (well, once you get to the end anyway).

aliens take humans, fatten them up like pigs then eat them. they modify scarlett, who is imagined much less attractive in the books, to help procure the meat


As soon as I saw a sexy-looking Scarlett Johanssen was playing the lead, I knew it was yet another example of style-over-substance.

does she develop a conscience then, and it all goes wrong, i think your wrong about style over substance by the way, its a haunting film with some very bold scenes, and johanssen is suberb in it

It's a cardboard cut out of one his characters from a play or movie he's in you see earlier in the movie.
