The tails wouldn't hit as one plane has two, the other one... so one would fit inside the other. However the question above is the right one.

I've pondered this. Technically anytime is after midnight.

If it's after sun comes up, which I've seen used as an explanation, then it's not explained in the film, and surely that messes up in winter as summer when it's all over the place.

I think at that point the team had all been identified as worthy adversaries for the Predator to take on. So they would have fought the Pred either way, with a gun or without, like Billy or Dutch at the end.

Another back to the future one, this time from part 3. When they find docs grave in 1955 it says 'beloved Clara' but when Marty goes back to 1885 doc hasn't got a clue who she is and they would never meet as she's meant to fall in the ravine after getting of the train, hence it being called Clayton ravine in 1985.

There's loads in bttf. Another is how did the lightning send doc back to 1885? He wasn't going 88mph, he was just hovering!!

88MPH activates the time circuits. The lightning strike basically overloaded and activated the same time circuit.

The more appropriate question is, why did Marty need to go 88MPH in 1955 to go back based on the above......why not just sit the Delorean with the clock tower wired directly to the flux capacitor, sit Marty inside and wait for the magic minute?
