Moyes: '2 signings in next 48 hours'

I don't see how it's laughable to be honest.

People are worried, Moyes has openly admitted he's worried and the season has already started. We've already been spanked 6-1 at home on the first day of the season.

We need players, good players. Saying this squad (at present) is capable of competing in four competitions is laughable and that's what we should be looking to do as a club, obviously that's if you have any ambition.

We need players and quickly.

F5 away my friend! (y)

I'm worried. I can't bear the thought of all the hardwork we're put in over the last few years going down the drain. With our lack of finances we've done tremendously well to hold the other, more wealthy clubs off but I'm worried this season may be the one where they all step in front of us. :(

I'm not going to predict anything until I see who we sign and what areas Moyes strengthens. I still think we have a good team, it needs adding to though, without a doubt.

I do care who we sign, Moyes is good in the transfer market but he's no miracle worker, he's can certainly get things wrong.

I agree in that our best 11 is more than capable of remaining the best of the rest and even pushing for 4th. But can we really strengthen enough as a squad to keep up?

When you look at Spurs' bench on Sunday for example, it just goes to show what we're up against. Spurs' bench made the RS bench look like a joke. FSW had nothing really to turn to when the game was slipping away.

1. This is gonna be another season when at the end we're looking back at the season thinking what it could have been had we been a little more ingenious in our transfer policy

2. Any player that we buy now would be a panick buy, despite all that moyes would say that he has spotted him and bla bla bla.

3. Its gonna take atleast november when the injured parties start to return when we start playing the everton way, in the meanwhile imagine pienaar or cahill gets injured, we're doomed

Can't say I agree with everything said on the Azzbot banning this time, but it's your forum. Certainly don't like it how some members are on his back, immediately after he is banned.

These are only my thoughts though, everyone is entitled to have a different view.

even when we bought fellaini on the last night i was pretty satisfied. BUt this year even if we buy some unknown player for big money or someone else i wont be satisfied cuz i know that we haven't done enough to make sure history doesn't repeat

To think this time last year we were saying how bad it was and could it get any worse.

Bingo.

I think its all about progressing from last season. Fans will panic and say "we're all doomed" because we've been there before and we dont want to go back.

No one honestly feels we wont sign someone. The problem I see that really get the fans in a panic are the players we do get, the money we do spend, and where that money comes from.

We will get 3 to 4 players in eventually. Now, whehter or not they are players that will take it to the next level...probably not. What they will be is strong players that can make us strong in other competitons and against teams who have spent more.

Then the money we do spend, we all know will be scrapped and begged from somewhere else (which will leave the business-man fan who has it out for the way the club is ran in uproar), but spent on someone we either dont know, dont really need or will take a while to settle.

By December everything will probably be fine. Some surprises will pop our way, the players Moyes got in will work well, we'll go on an unbeaten run, sit pretty in the top 7.

Which is fair enough. But whoever we get in, they wont be the players like a Van Der Vart, Moutinho eg etc etc that would add class. What they will be will be solid but good points to their game that will improve....

Its just the way it will be.
