one swallow doesnt make a summer. even when he got you lot top 4, your mickey mouse board baulked at backing him. how unfortunate for him and everton. that was your boat missed. like it or not you are destined to finish mid table for the next 4 or 5 seasons, like us. and he's perfectly happy with that. villa have debts alright, all owed to randy lerner. but at least we gave it a go. your board wouldnt even back him when he got you there. maybe lerner would give it one last push if he came on board. maybe it'd be the rock we'd perish on, but at least we'd have given it a go. maybe we'll never know.
