Honest, but I still think you're hiding something, maybe from yourself. Maybe we all are.....for instance, I have a troublesome case of self loathing I was hoping Demba Ba would cure, but now the thread's been locked who knows.

How utterly thick are you? I honestly don't think I've met such an arrogant, no, IGNORANT, bunch a "fans" as SOME on here. What a totally stupid thing to say. Hello, is anybody home? When Villa signed Bent we were 16th in the league. He played HALF a season and we finished 7 places higgher. NOw, honestly, try for one second, just for ONE second to think a bit smarter. Where would you have finished if you'd had the money, like we did, to sign Bent? My guess is top 5 or 6. But you didn't. You thought it was a clever reply to Everton's ambition to say that you finished 2 places above Villa who were in a transitional season, who's manager walked out 5 days before the start of the season? Well done! Well done!

In this case I'm massively thick, mate; I know nothing about the goings on at our club, or yours.

The difference is, I choose not to go on a Villa forum and pretend I know anything but nothing.

No chang mate mate, i 'love you ' as much as i 'love' damon..only difference is he's a pretend accountant and plays on it and your more honest as you do not hide the fact that you can/are a c##nt.

I'm not pay much attention to Villa. But from my brief observations it seems Ashley Young has been sold, Brad Friedal has jumped ship and Roberto Martinez; the Wigan manager who kept his side up by the skin of hes teeth, has turned you down.

Your logic doesn't make sense either. You seem to suggest that Villa originally did not go for Moyes because he was on holiday and Martinez is in the country. Considering we are in early June that sounds stupid. If you are picking someone to be your manager for the next 4/5 years, you dont get put of because your target is on holiday. The fact is you approached Wigan for Martinez. Wigan allowed you to speak to him but he chose Wigan. What does that say about Villa that even the Wigan manager wont go their.

I explained it in a previous post mate. He basically got told by the board to either start utilising the squad he had assembled who were on huge wages or sell them to trim the ridiculous 90% wage bill that he had ran up. He spat his dummy out and left. Villa have money and you will be receiveing 7 mil of it next week.

Villa had a shortlist of candidates. That is normal business practice, I never said we went for Martinez BECAUSE he was not on holiday I said that it made sense to interview the targets on your shortlist that ARE in the country and then approach other targets that are on your shortlist when they are available for interview. It really is simple. Oh and by the way, are you sure Martinez refused to come to Villa? I'm not.

Oh and Ash Young was always going to be leaving this summer, it's just the way it is and Friedel will be approaching 41 when the season starts so I'd hardly say he "jumped ship", we would only offer him a number 2 role and he wouldn't take it.
