Paddy power on talk ****e just made a valid point. "Martinez going to announce tomorrow and he's still not appearing on the betting for us so doubt it'll be him at Everton"
If it's not internal, which it would be by now, then it must be Vitor. I can't see anything else.

Eh? He's second favourite with Paddy Power.

Don't see the hype either, can see he looks like a cool dude, cant see Bill being so risky, he already come out and said in words that he wants someone to follow Moyes, Martinez seems more suitable.

On the other hand, I don't see the hype of Martinez.

...just looking at Periera's profile and CV and I don't think it reads too impressively. I appreciate he's won a couple to titles but he stepped into AVBs shoes and has been criticised by fans for some of his decisions. Its all a bit of a gamble.

That's nae bad though, is it?

Wikipedia states Vitor has signed a pre contract agreement with many clauses. We all know how crap info is on Wiki sometimes though

I've noticed the club seem to be hammering the season ticket open day on Saturday. Now, I don't think most people would want to buy their first season ticket not knowing who will be in charge, which leads me to think the new boss will be in by the weekend. V IS FOR VICTOR(Y)!!!

or they'll make it look like a sexy double portuguese champion will be offered the job, wait for the ticket money sales to roll in..............then appoint Alan Stubbs

All Martinez may announce tomorrow is whether he stays at Wigan or goes. If he says he's off, then that just puts him officially in play. Then discussions can begin in earnest. I'd be very surprised if any discussions have taken place so far between EFC and Martinez to the point of us being in a position to make him an offer. Besides, wouldn't we have to have approached Whelan to get permission to speak with him? If so, can you imagine Whelan sitting quietly on this piece of information??!

I saw Martinez on a Goodison-bound 19 Bus today lads....

But Stubb's-Dad's-Mate's-Cousin's-Postman told me that Stubbsy's got the job so I'm conflicted.

It's as though someone started a snowball rolling a few days ago to deliberately to start an avalanche - swept every fooker who never heard of him along.

Excellent job whoever is responsible.

Am I right Kenwright is in the Theatre biz - y'know smoke and mirrors, suspending belief - fooling the punters?
