Press here seem to think he will sign a 2 year contract. It's mostly speculation, but his contract does run out with Porto this season.

Ok Michael but listen to me for a second, if I'm on the phone to his brother in law and sister, are they gonna be telling me lies? Alan talks to his Mum every day.

Ok so if your right Stubbs knows he's got the job yet Phil Nev is today putting himself forward, I would sugest that if Stubbs new he had the job Pip would already now that he has'nt and would'nt be pimping himself for the job.

Thing is, none of us really know how anythings going to work out until the man is appointed and we've seen his approach after say, 19 games or so. Doesn't matter who it is. As long as its not Hughes, O'Neil or Benitez then im not really arsed who it is, i'll get behind them.

Pinto da Costa 5th fair gives an interview on BBC1 ace 21 hours. Maybe that says if Vitor Pereira continues or not.

I think tomorrow this interview we learn if VP stays or leaves. Not make any sense, already finished with the epoch that PC go food taboo around VP. We are, in case it turns out, still not sure who the new.

so a couple of fellas on here http://www.fcporto.ws/index.php?topic=15486.700

seem to think that there will be a statment from porto tomorrow

This is good/bad news. I think he's most people's second choice if Pereira falls through.

Lets be honest, if our main back up goes elsewhere before we know who we've got the insanity of this thread will rise tenfold!!!

Don't even let me imagine it... The moment when Malky becomes the best realistic choice, this thread will implode.

Can't think seriously that a top coach (he's a first team coach..thats all he does) like Pereira would consider coming to Everton if he had a current backroom boy foisted on him as his assistant. That smacks of either Weir, Neville or heaven forbid Stubbs, being available to step up if Pereira starts badly. Unlike Moyes, if he has us finishing 17th, he'll be on his way.
