everton-stallone.jpg

Hello

Just saw on a website (so its got to be true) that theres 95m everton fans world wide ... couldnt we all just stick in a tenner? we could buy messi

It's not going to be Pereira I'm feeling now... Martinez.... Gutted.... Yes Pereira a unknown but just felt Pereira had that bit of va va voom about him something different....his style of football could attract some top players to us.all reports seem to indicate that Martinez is Bills boy!! GUTTED....

Out of those 95m how many can actually go to a shop and buy any of the kit I wonder? If they sorted that we wouldn't need to send a tenner each!

The force is strong in Vitor Pereira.

I fear for the others..to much uncertainty.

My preferences would be

1. Pereira
2. Pereira
3. Pereira
4. Pereira
5. Pereira
6. Pereira
7. Pereira
8. Pereira

Sod the rest.

Vitor will be here soon.

For me it would make sense to have the likes of Neville, Stubbs and Weir amongst the coaching staff with Pereira. They know the ins and outs of the club, our limitations finacially etc and obvioulsy know the players well and would advise him on each players best attributes and roles within the team!.

The likes of Mourinho & AVB appointed either British or ex players of the clubs they took over as either assistant or 1st team coaches to help with running the club and being the go between manager and players sometimes, so it wouldnt surprise me if we went down the route of possibly appointing someone like Pereira and having Nev, Stubbs & Weir as assistant, 1st team coach and coach amongst the first team.

Pereira has been in contact with Everton simply because they reached an understanding (2 months ago) that he was in the running should the job become available (as opposed to the standard head-hunting exercise some clubs carry out). Now the job IS available he's come back to the club (and come to England) - surely that's pretty obvious and normal and very positive that we put him in the frame - to say "Everton haven't approached Pereira this week" is a little bit disingenuous since we've clearly laid the foundations previously.
