Big news from Record! Vítor Pereira and Porto got to an agreement last night. If its true their will be no move to Everton for Pereira.

ohwell.

Actually he isn't even a journalist. Maybe he is lying he is just a random person on twitter.

I know I'm one of a few but I don't see the whole laudrup jizzing fest's.

Sure he's had 1 good season at Swansea winning the cup but league performances were very up and down. Signing michu seems to have given him hero status as a transfer bargain king!

He does look like he has promise and could well make a good manager but he's just starting his career and has certainly not proved himself along the lines of others he's labelled equal too.

Right this is how I think it's going to go bill will take his time pereira will get board waiting and sign a new contract for Porto. Then bill will say "I tried to listen to the fans but he decided the mighty Porto over little everton." Then he can get (incert small time, crap going to take us backwards because of our boards total inept ability to do anything right managers name here)who he probibly wanted all along. Thus getting his way and ****ing over the fans yet again with his lies but all the clappers will say "is right bill you tried lad but we can't compete with Porto."

Martinez is even worse. His records speak for himself. I prefer Laudrup if the choice is from those two.

Timelines thar make sense

December: Fergie decides to retire, after sister in law dies, to be with wife. Everton alerted. Pereira invited to Goodison as guest.

Moyes and Pereira don't sign new contracts at their clubs

March: Fergie makes final decision. Moyes agrees to join United. Pereira agrees pre-contract agreement. Moyes takes eye off ball discussing United contract (and probably doesn't take training) as Everton lose 3-0 to Wigan. Pereira said to be "unhappy" with treatment by Porto board.

May: Fergie retires. Moyes installed in no time. Pereira finishes season and.. Everton string it along until Martinez makes a decision to create impression of having a few candidates to consider and interview internally. Throw a few smokescreens like "Neville interested". Neville waiting to consider future as possible assistant if all falls into place.

Moyes takes over early at United with Everton manager already chosen. Backroom staff at United and Everton mostly retained.

I beleive Record is some sort of tabloid out there. And they aren't very reliable.

They have two lines (unsubstantiated) about Pereira possibly being offered a new contract, and a 'full story' behind a paywall. No credibility from what I can see.

So late last night, Pereira's agent said there had been zero contact between him and Porto on a new contract, and then first thing the morning they've got one all sorted? Bollocks.
