Pereira won the league in Portugal with Porto ffs, A two horse race between them and Benfica

Might as well get Lennon in as its on par with his trophy wins

Because Sporting was awful these two years and Braga was bad this last one. Traditionally it's a 3/4 teams league, even if we normally win in the end.

Plus, the percentage of points won was the third highest in 50 years, only below AVB's season and one of Bobby Robson's season. Mourinho's teams were dominant domestically but they didn't win as many points as Pereira's.

Supporters are more or less evenly divided but mostly because a large portion of our fanbase is spoiled by winning so much. The biggest knocks on Pereira from your regular Porto supporter is that the man is dull on press conferences, that the team holds possession too much and matches become boring and that the team has been unlucky in elimination games. Plus, the name being pointed out as his replacement is a former club glory and team captain that everybody loves from his days as a player. Personally I'd rather be safe and keep him if he's willing to postpone a big contract and stay around. The team is very solid under him even if the guy lacks the charisma (and for some reason we have a tradition of charismatic, eloquent, head coaches).

I can understand that. But take me for example. I knew very little about except he managed Porto. That was it.
When I heard a link to us I did some research. And found out he's good.

It's not difficult to do a bit of research mate. It's what the Internet is for.

I couldn't name a better option (being realistic). And even more so when you look at the other terrible terrible options.

What did you find on the internet to tell you hes a good manager mate?

Im getting sick of people having mini heart attacks about this guy when most had never heard of him 3 weeks ago

I was of the same opinion, until someone pointed me in the direction of a few articles about him and listening to the opinions of some Porto fans on that forum. His record put the icing on the cake for me.

I keep asking why people want the fella and I get no good reply from many on here who are fapping hourly over his wiki page

And you ignore people when they say he just gone 2 Seasons in the League with only 1 League defeat.

Then you say "Yeah but Celtic", ignoring the fact that Celtic have been beaten 6 times in their 1 team League.

Then you say "But youve never seen Porto", so then I say ive watched them twice, then you will say "TWICE, LOL?", then I will laugh and it will highlight your sheer lack of knowledge on modern football, then you will probably self harm.

A friend of mine has just picked up at Finch Farm in Halewood, he works for Delta Taxis.

Are Bill Kenwright and the board taking the proverbial, are they not taking this Manager's position seriously ?

Why the hell has Steve Maclaren been interviewed this afternoon ?

This is not a joke, I'm embarrassed to be writing this.

Delta have an account with Everton Football Club, my friend picked up a member of staff

Mike

How much did he charge him mate?

It's all been said on here now.

I was especially impressed with his eye for the bargain and then selling for a stupidly inflated price. Better at it than Moyes I'd say. We all know (even if we don't admit it) that we need to sell the buy. And he's very good at that.

So you admit two of the teams that would normally challenge for the league have been poor this season and last

Hes had it even easier than first thought
