next week? ffs

This is a joke, everton should just say, come now or never to every manager.
If he wants to come that bad, he will then.

why are porto losing there best players? ... are they bust?

That's our business model. Our revenue is not even a third of yours if you disregard players sales.

We sell our best players every Summer. Then we buy new (much cheaper) ones and used the difference to pay for salaries and the rest of the expenditures. Those cheaper guys will eventually increase in price and be sold and that's how life goes for us.

just being realistic matey.

There's every chance that he could end up here yet.

I could understand the negativity if he was just some random name pulled out of a hat who didn't even know Everton existed, but he's contacted our club and let it be known he is interested in the managers position here.

I'm not fully convinced we will get him, due to our Chairman, but I'm not going to be negative and write it off completely.

It's not a 2 horse race, it's a much stronger league than the SPL and in 3 years as assistant and then manager, he lost 1 league game. 1 league game!!

Anyone who thinks the Scottish league is anywhere near the standard of the Portuguese game clearly hasn't watched much of either league.

That's not to say the Portuguese league is overwhelmingly strong, just that it's far more advanced than anything played North of the border.

Just look at the coefficient rankings: Portugal 5th: 59.168. Scotland 24th: 15.91
