In the last 5 seasons, there have been 4 different teams in the top 2 positions - Porto, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon and Braga.

It's nowhere near as bad as the 2 horse race Scottish Leagues.
It's a lazy comparison to make to be honest. Look at the success Benfica had in the Europa league....Porto still have them to beat over the course of a season.
It requires some quality.

Anyone who thinks the Scottish league is anywhere near the standard of the Portuguese game clearly hasn't watched much of either league.

That's not to say the Portuguese league is overwhelmingly strong, just that it's far more advanced than anything played North of the border.

Just look at the coefficient rankings: Portugal 5th: 59.168. Scotland 24th: 15.91

The top 5 of the portuguese league would probably spank our arses. Sporting and Benfica bring back bad memories. Technical beats industrial any day of the week.

The prem has been a 2/3 horse race since it began so is Spain.

Anybody comparing the Scottish league to that of the Portugese need a broader football education.

You probably think the German league is hard to win also don't you? for bayern or dortmund.
Freiburg that good team coming 5th.

Compared to Mourinho and AVB at times Vitor Pereira's only weakness IMO is his Pereira his inability to capture the hearts of the fans.

Well he's had no problem winning us over without even bloody doing anything!

All he needed was a fancy name, a better point than Pip, a bit of stubble and an armband and we're in love <3

I think moyes is going to change his mind at the last min and sign a 4 year deal with everton ... it could happen ... right?
