"Steven Naismith is a luvvvely player, I will be sorry to see him leave, but QPR offered us 35m and it was hard to turn down considering hes just recovered from a serious injury and was being played out of postion, The Chairman will use the money to bid again for Chris Samba and we hope that QPR will accept our 250m offer"

Its now more on !

Imagine Pereira walking into FF and seeing Naisy doing keep ups and getting to around 4 before losing control and doing his knee lunging for the 'out of control' extra one ?

Harry would be right on the blower, if he knew how to work one, flogging him.

"stature as a feeder club for united" ?
In Moyes tenure we sold 1 player to united (Rooney) and lost a manager (Moyes) having been here for 11 years.
In return we have bought for peanuts Neville,Gibson and Howard.
I hope these little known facts dispel the 'feeder club myth' that abounds on this forum.

That "1 player" and other employee we lost to utd were fairly significant though weren't they?

So you would prefer a Manager who got a team relagated with 20 defeats, rather than a Manager who just went 2 whole Seasons with only 1 league defeat.

I laugh in your general direction.

My little boys football team went all season un-defeated, the same manager the year before took the older team and They also went un-defeated all season. They also won the cup....

Should this said manager be top of our wanted list because he's been 2 yrs un-defeated and won a cup????

Of course not!!!

I like the look of VP but people have got far too carried away with the thinking he's gonna change everything, take us to amazing things.... The PL and England is very different to porteguese league. The reality is there's just as much chance as him being an epic fail (Ramos style). Could end up great....

I just wish people would calm down a little, talking like he's mouriniho. Non of the big BIG teams want him, half there fans don't want him, there board are not fussed either way... Bit of perspective needed!
