Who is paying these ****s to ring up talksport and say they want an internal appointment ?
The fans need to be heard that we don't want internal. We cannot be to scared to carry on without Moyes, and to scared to change stuff, why not just use the same line up we had last season, what the point in getting a new manager. Fans need to reply to that article so the board can see how people feel.

Morning lads.

In all honesty, I'm really hung over and there's no way I'm reading the 30 odd pages from last time I came here.

What's new lads? I'm guessing its still on even though there's a whole bunch of sensible people telling us its not on because there are far more realistic outcomes on the table but we're still dreaming and posting pictures of him pointing and gifs and occasionally going mental over a tweet for no reason?

Literally nothing new mate.

This is Mark Lawrenson, I'm scared cos this could be Bill thinking as well They will be replacing a guy who has been in charge for 11 years, surrounded by his own people all with intimate knowledge of his way of working.
It’s natural any person who comes in will want to change things around a little bit and put their own stamp on the job, but they will have to be careful they don’t upset everybody in the process.
This is why it will be hard for an outsider to come in. Everything at Everton is done the Moyes way.
Of those inside the club, you are looking at Alan Stubbs, David Weir, Phil Neville and Duncan Ferguson. Maybe even Alan Irvine.
I don’t think Everton fans will mind so much if it’s an internal appointment, although it may depend on which of that quintet is awarded the job.

I'll post here what I put on the LDP website:

A kopite thinks Everton should go with an underqualified, under experienced COACH to take over the MANAGER'S position from a guy rated by the biggest team in the country as the best choice to take over from the most successful manager in English football history?

Imagine. My. Surprise.

Way to silence the Blue Union and "Moyes Out" and "Goddammit we're tired of being skint koff kenwright" brigade. By hiring internally.

Hope we show some sophistication here at least. Obv i'm behind the manager whoever we hire, but whichever way you look at it it's gonna be a fun summer for evertonians. Quite possibly exceruciating, but fun nevertheless.

This bit piss me off "What everyone shouldn’t forget, though, is that Everton aren’t broke. And if it ain’t broke, it doesn’t need fixing"

The post from Mark Lawrenson is very interesting.Lawrenson and Moyes are very friendly and from that I would guess that Moyes has advised the chairman to appoint from within the club or at least to give it careful consideration. In many ways it makes sense as it would provide continuity, but it would also mean the appointment of a manager with zero experience.
I am not sure that advise has been taken because an internal appointment could have been made this week. The delay would suggest that there are external canditates still being considered.

I have mentioned this before ,that David Moyes was hugely impressed with how the Bundesliga worked.I still wouldn't be surprised with an appointment from that direction that hasn't even been mentioned

(Let me preface this by saying I don't want an internal appointment, as could probably be grasped from my previous post)

That bit didn't bother me that much. Nothing at Everton is really *broken* (at least on the playing side), but some things aren't "optimised" for want of a better word. Just because nothing is completely screwed or broken, doesn't mean you just accept the status quo though, and keep things just ticking over.

The bit that bothered me the most was where he said "Everton will do will to finish in the top 10 next season"... Errrr... why exactly?!

So man u have just won a title, why didn't they go internal if their system isn't broken either. I hate the media sometimes.
