Mccarthy and Mcmanaman are not 'average', both have a lot of potential under the correct management. Im happy for Fellaini to go, just a slong as we can get a good technical midfielder in to replace him, wouldn't complain with Mccarthy, he will only get better and better.

Mcmannaman has had half a season of football and once figured out by opp defenders, I expect will be no where near as effective. Infact look how Gibbs completely took him out of the game. 1 trick pony at the mo! McCarthy yes seems to be above average tbf, however the fee would be big and not worth it IMO. He's not as good as Gibson!.... Well not much between them anyway....one was 500k the other prob around the 10M mark.

I'm not winding anyone up. There's some bad feeling towards Lennon I appreciate that but his CV compares favourably to all the other British and Irish based candidates - especially the internal ones and Martinez. By all means the Porto boss is something to get excited about but what Lennon's done is impressive.
