..I suspect this is because his Wigan decision is due today. If he says he's leaving they are putting 2+2 together and think it inevitable he comes to us. Its probably a good time to back somebody else if you don't think he's coming.

....apologies if already mentioned, but just read that Martinez is still in Spain considering his future. Whelan says he's meeting him tomorrow (Tuesday) for lunch after which his decision will be announced. So it doesn't appear we'll be any wiser today.

Yeah look at the odds for Chelsea Jose is 1/20, the same was with Man city as well. No one got a clue who the board want. Everyone saying Martinez is making a decision. Now if we had offered a deal to Martinez, Whelan would have told everyone by now.
