As a mark of respect for reaching page 1066 I think we should all pause for a moment and remember the 6,000 souls that died on that momentous day - 14th October 1066

#RIPHarroldladd

Ive got no sympathy for them mate my great great granddad rented a caravan in the next field never got a wink of sleep because of the noisy ****s.

I am not exactly in the Martinez camp but this is utter drivel. In the Cold light of day in 20 years time who would be classed as the more successful manager...Moyes or Martinez

If I am around in 20 years time I will tell you. However it is only a manner of speech that you have taken exception to.

Without a doubt. Moyes.

It will depend on the rest of their respective careers. Currently, when people look at statistics, Martinez is ahead. Historically, 'keeping a team in the top six' counts for zilch. Winning trophies is what counts. having your name on the list of winners. As you drive into Wigan, theres already a sign saying 'FA Cup Winners 2013'. I don't see a sign on the way into Walton saying 'in the top six in the Premiership'. Or even 'bottled the big ones'.

Thats the point I am trying to make. Martinez is more successful than Moyes. Not saying he is a better manager just currently more successful.

We will see.

Martinez just won't (what I think anyway) manages those top clubs. Moyes has earned it via his Everton records.

This would also mean that Joe Royle who so nearly took us down, was also a better manager than Moyes when he clearly wasn't
