cant help but feel someone from outside the english game will come in change everythinfg and leave after 18months. I dont think Martinez would. I am quite warming to the idea now after having been anti at first. Also no-one ever knows how it will turn out. We could have appointed SAF and been rubbish. When we appointed Moyes i thought we would get relegated. Just need to see what happens and give them a fair crack.

Pereira as coach and Rangnick as DOF? For good or for ill, that would be a seriously out-the-box bit of thinking by our favourite Impresario. I like the sexy, European nature of it. Makes me feel like everton is now a 70s bond film or something.

Everton having a Director of Football would take some getting used to I'll say that

Big step for the club, I don't think they'll do it

Its probably what is going to happen at Man Utd now. certainly don't think Moyes will be trusted to work with some of the bigger foreign markets till they are sure about him. There have just been some high profile disasters in this country but seems to have been because clubs been giving that role to people who like the idea rather than can do the job. the good ones abroad we probably don't even hear about/ certainly think we are a good case for trying this because whatever else we can say about Moyes and Kenwright we are definitely stable now. having said this, I agree that I think this German guy has been hyped because the market went stale

Stubbs it is, then.

I can't help thinking that we're missing the obvious here with a DoF. Maybe, Martinez or Pereira have asked for a DoF, hence the interview.

I deffo think it's between these two guys though, I don't think RR has been interviewed for the managers role alone.

It's all pie in the sky anyhow. Just hope we find out soon

Just want to say, despite all the negativity I am seriously impressed with the shortlist of three if it really is Martinez, Ragnick and Periera. Was convinced a cheap option like Stubbs or Weir was on Bills shortlist
