I don't think I've ever listened to him speaking English, but it'd be extremely weird if he doesn't. VP is a wonk, one of those coaches who came from the academia, not from the football scene (he only played at a semi-pro level). No way he doesn't speak English fluently. Why would he even be talked to jobs in England if he didn't speak English?

Where's your proof that he doesn't speak English eh?

I'm yet to be presented with any reliable evidence that he speaks English. I can find lots of interviews on youtube and he doesn't speak English in any of them. I e-mailed and tweeted him and the response I got was in portugese, so I think that just about confirms it for me.
