Blackburn1 time
Man City 1 time

Portuguese league over the same time period

Porto 15 times
Benfica 3 times
Sporting 2 times

spain as another head to head comparision

Barca 10 times
Real 7 times
Valencia 2 times
Depor 1 time
Athlethico 1 time

now lets look at scotland

Ranger 12 times
Celtic 9 times

Scotland is way the most unbalanced league and not deserving to be compared to any serious footy league around europe

Look mate, ive already said i know that the Portuguese league is obviously higher quality than the spl. The point i was trying to make is, is that if you were the porto manager or a fan, Benfica aside you would expect to win the VAST majority of your other games

Speaking for myself here, I find that I am working myself up to a state where if we DO take on Martinez I am going to be disappointed. I feel that I am being unreasonable. He seems hugely respected within the game by people who know a helluva lot more than me, that's for sure.

I suppose I am so set on Vitor that anything else would be second best.

We live in a world where one minute Ring Rangadong has 'really impressed' in an interview, then discover he hasn't actually had one.

I wish they would sort it out soon. Who knows, we may learn to love Robertow. :)

So is Redknapp though and he's a ****astrophe of a person and manager. I feel Robby the Spaniard is very underwhelming as a choice.

BK " How much do you want ? "
DW " £2m "
BK " I'll give you £1m "
DW " £1.75 "
BK " I'll give you £1m or not employ him leaving you with a manager who you've publically stated doesn't want to be there, and £2m less than you wanted rather than £1m less"
DW " Deal.. "

Easy..

We'll apply that same logic to any moron on here who has the audacity to challenge any other fan to not being a genuine Everton fan.

It's not moronic, nor audacious to expose posters who, judging by the way they express their opinions seem to be taking the micky in a manner that's rawkish.

and if you were the Wigan manager or a fan, other relegation teams aside, you would expect to loose the VAST majority of your other games.
A manager who's used to loosing or a manager who's used to winning, I know which I'd pick

the same can be said of any manager for any of the top teams in their respective leagues though mate, the sucess from vitor is in a league where they are expected to beat other teams regulary he meets the clubs expectations, something a lot of the tohers weve been linked too havnt managed and he has done so under a lot of fan pressure and having lost over the last two years at least 3 world class players and some damned good ones in addition

I hear ya and feel the same. But if he gets the job we should get behind him - even if it's forced.

I don't think we should go drooling like Kopites over Rodgers and his 'philosophies'. We made a similar faux pas when we took on Mike Walker.

We want bobby!we want bobby! Shall we all go down Goodison and stand outside with banners n placards expressing our disgust at the lengthy wait bill is putting us through?

This is exactly what's required.
Get some kids on BMX's ready to ride round the Sky reporter and make something happen.
Make sure the biggest lad is on a clearly stolen girls bike though.. It's not the same otherwise..

We need action..

You could use that argument for lennon though. Whatever league he's in etc at least he has a winning mentality
