Thanks for that, appreciate it. Saves me scrolling back and working it out.

So Whelan announced it before it was officially announced? What's Billy boy talking about it's not a done deal yet then??

Whelan announced that compo had been agreed. Sky Sports 'understood' it. EFC released a statement saying that the process is ongoing.

So basically they were miffed at Broken Leg jumping the gun as he is prone to do.

I think this is actually the fault of Whelan's.

I know Everton are more than capable of screwing up anything, but in this instance, this is Whelan being an idiot. I think Everton are the innocent parties in this one instance - what can you do when a publicity-seeker like Whelan opens his big gob?

The bit I'm not understanding about any of this, is why Billy liar has fabricated an interview process when he only had one man in mind all along. Surely just swooping for him, or even just saying he already had someone lined up, would have been best. And why not just keep quiet till the morning and announce it, instead of what's tantamount to denying it's Martinez

We're looking a bit dumb now, almost Kopite dumb. Thankfully no one is as shameful and dumb as that lot across the park. But goodness, c'mon Bill sort it out!

The Great Gatsby, it was quite good. I was sweating like a rapist it was so hot in there though, think having too much sun might have contributed to that though. Got through 2 litres of water, took my own thankfully

From wiki;

The Great Gatsby explores themes of decadence (Whelan), idealism (Team Vitor), resistance to change (why did you have to go Moyesy, why? ), social upheaval (the fkn new badge), and excess (probably Whelan again)

Not sure if this was posted here already, but Pinto da Costa has announced he has a manager already and will make the public announcement on the 12th.

He didn't confirm or deny it's Vitor Pereira though.

Half of the people I talked to believe what his statements suggest VP will continue, the other half that the phrasing uggests he's gone and it's someone new. Nobody has a clue.

In his usual trollish ways, Pinto da Costa claimed "it's easy to deduct if it's Vitor Pereira or not" b)

What's the point of denying it though? It's done now, surely just announce it tomorrow instead of denying it. Makes Billy and his crew look a bit daft really. Not like they need much help in that department.
