You're probably right when you consider Mourinho and AVB, but Pereira really is a different animal. The reaction of the Portistas to him (they were pretty much split in terms of keeping him even though they won the league) is very indifferent, and he has no real rapport with the fans. It's just not his bag.

The eternal optimist....!

A Portuguese fan posted on here, goodness knows how many thousands of posts back, and said the main reason the fans didn't go for him was because he lacks a bit of charisma. It's more a personality thing.

What ever his personality is like, he'll have more charisma than Moyes had :)

Davek is entitled to his opinon and generally his opinons are worthwhile.
It is obvious what he thinks of the board, very often he is right, but sometimes I think his dislike can cloud his judgement.

Regarding an internal appointment,I think Bill Kenwright would have dearly loved to appoint an internal manager but realised they simply didn't have the experience.
I think that option two after Martinez could well be Stubbs/Ferguson with an older man as mentor.Something I would consider very interesting

He frequently makes things up and gets angry if you question his consipracies, but I like him like the quirky character in a serious film.
Think Steve Buscemi in.. well anything.

As for Martinez.. I don't think we will improve to be honest, but I think we may decline less than a lot of the options being thrown about so I'm still for it.

 Pretty good, tbf.

As for conspiracies: how is posting your opinion about what would happen based on the experience of this club's actions classified as a conspiracy theory? I think you might mean 'point of view'.

i think we should just go mad and sign a manager
from bootle or something and sign joey barton + drenthe

I think he's an utter mongoose

He was thought to be Swansea's number 1 target to replace Rodger, before Laudrup but turned it down.

He must be respected in that sense.

Didn't know that he must have something about him if that is the case. The Swansea board have a good eye for a manager
