For me I so hope (If it happens) we are talking Malky Mckay, Duncan Ferguson, Rafael Benitez or Michael Laudrup!! I cant think of anyone else that would impress me that I think is realistic!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Not Phil Neville I pray!!!

But who would that be realistically?

I don't know, but its my guess fergie has been in contact with moyes all season keeping him informed, hence moyes stalling on his contract. Kenwright surely knew that moyes would be going so it is up to him to have been finding the best out there to replace him, and for that appointment to be made quickly.

We all know though that he buried his head in the sand and is now pooing his pants!

I really hope we find a replacement soon. I don't think I can bare thread after thread of speculation

Yeah I want Rafael just for the hilarity that will assume, I don't even care anymore.

Pellegrini - his current club is even worse run than ours, they have no chance of Europe for the next three seasons because of the ban, he is used to working with no money, has proved he can make "small" clubs perform way beyond where they should including getting into the latter stages of the Champions League, and he is a pragmatist.

He signed a new contract a few months back.

Compensation would be huge.

Plus is he actually any good?

Not necessary, loads or people sign contracts which benefit them more so than the club.

Clubs do it to keep the asset happy. See Fellini, Suarez etc
