Mick McCarthy has done a good job at Ipswich, stabilised them and moved them on a bit. He's a massively underrated manager that I'd love to see given a chance with us.

Exactly this all day long. At Leicester he was just another tough tackling midfielder. It only got silly once the Northern Ireland internationals and Rangers crap all kicked off.

I think that away from that sort of pressure, he'd be able to concentrate more at the task at hand and could do some really good things

Alos, O'Neil had perhaps the best Celtic team since the Lisbon Lions to work with, where as Lennon as the equivalent of the Celtic team from the early 90's when Rangers were stomping to 9 in a row
