I went on sporting life to check Chester betting for tomorrow and saw this

Neil Lennon is the subject of a "monster gamble" to become Everton's next manager this evening.

That's the description given by William Hill who have slashed their odds about Lennon moving from Celtic to Goodison Park.

Several other firms, including Sky Bet and Ladbrokes, have also cut Lennon into favouritism.

Hill's are into 5/4 from 6/1 after "a sustained gamble from the Celtic manager's native Northern Ireland".

Their spokesman Rupert Adams said: "There can be little doubt that his countrymen believe that he will be offered the Everton job and he is now our favourite."

Betfred are still prepared to dangle 11/4 at present.

Early front-runner Roberto Martinez has now drifted even further. The Wigan manager is out to 13/5 with Paddy Power.

i like laudrup but one or two good years with us and one of the european big boys will probably come calling. Suppose we'd have a higher status and a good compo package but still, hardly ideal

Yep...

The more i think about Martinez the more it makes sense. Has been loyal to Wigan and only left Swansea after getting them promoted. We need a manager who'll be with us for the long haul, would fume if we turned into a team changing coaches every year or two.

Have any of these foreign candidates ever heard of the pivotal importance of uncle cyril handlebars. I don't want any johnny foreigner coming in to our ground asking about transfer budgets unless they can point to the location of the boys pen.

Tradition please over euros.

Kenwright said he'll be listening to supporters as to who they do/don't want. If Lennon is the one, then he's one deaf [Poor language removed]

Apparently Elstone did an online sentiment analysis study in which the words 'imagine', 'Lennon' and 'Please, please' returned a 90% positive sentiment amongst Evertonians
They put two and 2 together and....

how on earth can the betting people know anything? do they have wire taps on kenwright's phones? NO

so stop ****ing listening to the bookies, they've got plenty wrong before.

in fact why would kenwright be doing anything right now at 9pm on a thursday?

Yes works 24/7 on a buyer for our club and now looking for a manager:D

I hope this search doesn't go like the one when we ended up going back for Kendall for the third time. What a palaver that was.
