They're 18th and have never finished out of the bottom 6 and you can't believe the amount of posters against him?

I know but there's the bigger picture, bit like Moyes has never won a trophy but he's been chosen as the best fit at United. They're Wigan, of course he hasn't taken them to 4th. But he's young, ambitious and has a philosophy for playing free passing footy. I get the feeling he takes his job very seriously too, not unlike moyesie

You mean apart from the fact that he called us a small club and is generally and utter bel end ?

Robbie Keane - £19m
Riera - £8m
Aquilani - £17m
Dossena - £7m
Morientes - £6m
Josemi - £2m

Total: £59m

His transfer activity at Liverpool is the main reason they are so much in debt

IT WAZ DEM YANKS LAR

"passing footy"? winning footy would be better. there is not a clear upgrade in manager terms in the english league system, only gambles which would probably cost money to gamble on.

Laudrup, Di Matteo, De Boer would be attractive options. If we want to keep nucleus of team we need a manager who demands resect and ambitious to inspire team IMO

He's a 'decent coach' who got sacked or pressured to resign from his last three positions, the last being Twente where he was criticised for playing overly defensive football.

You'd happily accept that ??

You're missing the point (as per usual). We're not talking about ideal world choices here are we? All this Porto manager stuff is pie in the sky. We'll be shopping in the Ian Holloway/Hughes class aisle I'm afraid.

Carry on with the fantasy football manager lists though.
