Glenn Hoddle, Very knowledgeable, has academies running with kids learning to play the game the right way. Thought he was unlucky with England if he had just kept his mouth shut. I think he has learnt since then and could be quite good for us.

Looking at how other clubs are managed abroad and it now seems United is following suit with having a football director and Manager.

This seems to be the new way of thinking with clubs getting bigger all the time.

Wonder if this would work with us hire someone to be a director as well as a manager.

Club manager power is declining and is becoming more focused on coaching. The player hiring, media etc and everything else is usually done by the director. Wenger and Moyes (was when he managed us) has had a lot more power in the club than his counterparts.

Maybe BK should follow the new way. Hire both a manager and director. But to be fair I haven't got a clue who would be a good director.

Martinez or Bilic. Martinez because he knows the league very well, plays good football and gets the best out of his players. How he keeps wigan up is a mystry to me although it looks like they might be going down.
Bilic's passion for the game is infectious and its clear he's a winner. He demands a lot of his players plus croatia are developing a few gems at the moment and he probably knows about a few of them we could bring in on the cheap. The only negative about him is that he hasn't coached a club so doesn't have any intel on some other players.

Don't understand the fanfare for pareira. Porto runs a serious organisation and a lot of their success is due to their vast souting network rather than the coaches. Plus he made a criminal substitution in the champs league which got them knocked out. Not a fan of people who get it wrong by so much.

Laudrup isn't gonna come here. If he leaves swansea it'll probably be for a massive club.

Alot of people on here love Moyes - but he made some shocking substitutions, there have been times when Goodison have been booing as he has made a substitution because it was so wrong (think it was Weir or Hibbert or something coming on against Tottenham)

If Pereira likes having a scouting network - then thats what he will have to talk about with Kenwright - no reason why we as a club can't change for the manager, rather than the manager changing to suit the club.

Also, with Martinez it could work out for him here, and if we got him I wouldn't be unhappy - but the fact that he has the worst defence in the league - and has had enough seasons to improve that area is quite worrying.

Martinez and Spielberg. We'd lose a bit but we'd look good doing it.
