Paisley? His record was phenomenal over the 9 years in charge of Liverpool. Ferguson does not come close in his 27 years in average trophies per year.

I think hes been a good captain on the whole. The players love him, ask Landon Donovan, Tim Cahill and any of the current squad. Apparently hes a hard task master and studies the game and coaching techniques
He has worked under the greatest manager of all time and a very good manager in Sir Alex Ferguson. If you cant learn from those tow youve got no hope.
Everything about him points to being a manager and my gut tells me he'll be a good one eventually. Just think if he was in an assisting capacity full time to an older manager it could pay dividends.
Sheeds are you hearing chatter about Klinnsman? some lounge chatter today.
Does he not? Right ok. That's that then.Paisley? His record was phenomenal over the 9 years in charge of Liverpool. Ferguson does not come close in his 27 years in average trophies per year.

As if Klinnsman would leave the US team the year before a world cup.

Klinsmaan has been slashed from 100/1 to 14/1

I'm with you on that. We need to start cutting these close ties with Man Utd, far too close. Even more so now Moyes is going there. Can you imagine Kenwright playing hardball with Moyes over a bid for Baines?
Nah, me neither.
Lulz.
Paisley built on Shankly's success, whereas Ferguson pretty much built Manchester United as we know it today.
