Had I of known the dire ****fight that has eventuated in the last week and a bit, I never once would have said 'Moyes out' in my life. I just want it over.

I think if Gary Speed was still with us, he may have looked the best possible option.

As it is, I'd love Laudrup, but of the realistic options Martinez and Mackay seem the most sensible. The likes of Lennon, Hughes or anyone from in the club just don't bear thinking about.

Utter made up rubbish. You can't possibly know this. Stop making up stuff as if it's certain. You sound like a fool.

This. Totally this.

I'm not even reading anything else before, during or after this in this thread.

I'd be thumbing this hard.

Odds mean nothing lads

No they actually do, they mean that when someone's brothers auntie noshed off Kevin Mirallas brother in law they heard that McCall would be the next manager.

What that means is people like me get to make loads of money!!

THIS.... DEFINITELY THIS. YEAH YEAH. SO THIS

absolutely no point you read anything before...up till then it was people putting opinions forward without just dismissing each other's opinions because they aren't part of a c****e.

this is what we should be hoping for but not convinced that's what we would get with Martinez or Poyet. Could put up with someone not inspiring the team and moving on after a drab season finishing sixth again but someone whose ego destroys what doesn't need destroying has to be avoided. It is a good job for an intelligent manager who wants to stay somewhere stable with good sense of community and be well paid for the foreseeable future. Get the whole squad believing in themselves for a full season shouldn't need a genius

Martinez might be okay for this, but personally, his recent record ???
Any incoming manager looking at the long term will know that he'll be able to replace staff that are unresponsive when contract renewals come along, and in the meantime,
If Moyes' family are scouting Cuba 24/7 and he thinks Siberia's more important... ;)

Not when you're talking about a club where there's no ambition and no pressure to win from the ownership.
I've a feeling things may change.Moyes came in when the side looked like going down.Whoever gets the job now inherits a team that should challenge (in principal) for a CL place.I think the fans and media expectations will out-weigh the torpor in the boardroom
